Ty Anderson, Owner
Over the last 15 years I have coached and trained hundreds of business owners and their management teams all over North America. My family has long ties to the East metro; St. Paul, North St. Paul, and White Bear Lake. I graduated from North St. Paul High School in 2008. After High School I attended The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, to earn a degree in Business Administration and Management in 2012. While in College I worked for a student painting company. My summer job my freshman year of college turned into my career in home service businesses. My roles have evolved over time, starting as a painter in 2009 to becoming a Student Franchise Owner in Woodbury, MN from 2010-2012, progressing to General Manager from 2012-2016, and finally assuming the role of Vice President through 2017.

Diversifying my experience, from 2017-2023 I continued in coaching and training other business owners in home service industries. However, I missed my community and serving customers as a business owner. In 2023 I moved to Woodbury, MN and started Valley Creek Painters in 2024. Some of my first jobs were service industry roles, but I moved into corporate recruiting for the largest recruiting business conglomerate in the country. After 4.5 years in a leadership position within that recruiting business, I made a jump to smaller business and self-employment. I was born and raised in Brooklyn Center, went to University of Northwestern in St. Paul, and I now reside with my wife and 4 daughters in Roseville.

Watching others develop into growing leaders is a great passion of mine. Over the last two years, I have witnessed an industry full of people desiring to grow and be developed. I am excited to serve the eastern metro with our perspective of professional home services business, and our underlying purpose: growing and developing other humans through our business.

I started with the team in November of 2024 as a painter, bringing over a decade of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In April 2025, I was promoted to Project Manager, where I now oversee jobs from start to finish. Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to delivering high-quality finishes through careful planning, clear communication, and attention to detail. From surface preparation to advanced coating techniques, I ensure every project is completed on time and to the highest standards.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and boxing.

Chad Matejcek, Estimator
I joined the team in April of 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in the painting industry. My journey started in 2012 with a college internship, where I ran a small painting business in south Minneapolis. Over two summers, I managed multiple crews and completed more than 80 home projects. I specialize in estimating and project management, and I enjoy helping clients find the right colors and products to achieve beautiful, long-lasting results. Originally from southern Minnesota, I now live in St. Louis Park.

Outside of work, I enjoy hunting, camping in the Boundary Waters, grilling, and cheering on the Minnesota Gophers and Detroit Red Wings.
